Your turn....

You don't write, you don't call...

Seriously... what's on your mind re: school work and your process? I've been posting about the areas where I run into trouble with my process and the things that I have worked through. Now I'd like to hear from you.

What stresses you out about school?

Where do you get stuck in your work?

What part of your process would you like to improve?

Please either post in the comment section here, or email me directly at harrietschwartz14@gmail.com... and I'll respond to your comment in a future blog post. Please let me know whether or not you would like me to acknowledge you as the author of your question or topic, or not.

Bring it on!
Harriet

  1. In response to your question: "what part of your process would you like to improve?"

I feel like I spend a lot of time organizing myself to do work. Once I've completed all the organization (putting articles in file folders, writing several outline drafts of a paper, experimenting with new software that may be a good fit for the current project, managing inter-library loan, etc.), I DO feel that the framework I've created enables me to jump into writing, but I don't feel like I've got the time organizing: time actually working ratio as balanced as it should be.

Perhaps I sometimes use organization as a way to procrastinate. . .ugh.

  2. Hmmm, that's an interesting question. I could go on and on, but I won't.

As you know, the whole process of setting time aside to study is still a hinderance for me. I used to close the door of my office to study, but I'm finding that even doing this I'm still distracted. I think the best for me (currently) is to have a completely different environment when I want to have some god quality study time.
